How I Come Up with Topics

As I continue on this writing spree,
People often ask me, “How do you come up with topics to write about?”
It’s a great question, and one I’m open to sharing.
For me, ideas can strike at any moment.
Sometimes it’s a conversation with a friend, a news article, or even a personal experience that sparks an idea.
Other times, it’s simply a curiosity about a particular subject that I want to explore further.
I find inspiration in the world around me, from the smallest detail to the biggest news story.
My first step is to brainstorm. I take out a notebook and jot down anything that comes to mind.
No idea is too silly or too big.
I let my mind wander and see where it takes me. This helps me generate a list of potential topics to explore.
I also use mind-mapping techniques to connect ideas and see how they relate to each other.
Next, I look to my interests. What am I passionate about? What do I enjoy learning about?
When I write about something I care about, it shows in my writing and makes it more enjoyable for my readers.
I find that writing about topics I’m passionate about makes the process more enjoyable and the content more engaging.
I also keep an eye on trends and current events. What’s happening in the world right now? How can I contribute to the conversation? Mostly, I use Google Trends.
I believe that writing about relevant topics helps me stay connected with my audience and provides value to them.
But sometimes, ideas just come to me out of the blue.
I might be walking down the street, or in the shower when suddenly an idea pops into my head. That’s when I know I’m onto something good.
The secret to finding ideas is to be curious and open-minded. Be open to trying new things and learning new stuff.
And lastly, enjoy the process!
