Writer’s block is when you sit down to write, but your mind is blank.

You stare at the page, but no ideas come. This happens to many writers, even those with a lot of experience.

It’s a common problem that can happen to anyone.

But, why Does It Happen?

Sometimes, our minds go blank. This can be because:

  • We’re not feeling inspired
  • We’re too stressed to write
  • We’re scared of not writing well
  • We’re distracted by other things
  • We’re too tired to think

What to Do When You’re Stuck

Don’t worry, writer’s block won’t last forever! Here are some tips to help:

  • Take a break and do something else
  • Change where you’re writing
  • Do some writing exercises to get started
  • Read, talk to people, or explore new places for ideas
  • Write something bad, to get words flowing

Writer’s block is normal.

Have patience and practice, you can overcome it and start writing again.
